Amy Blumrosen
Amy is a litigation attorney who became a pickleball addict in 2020 when her son suggested she give it a try. Amy’s skills as a former college tennis player quickly transitioned to pickleball wins at tournaments. Amy loves introducing family and friends to her love of the game and also helping the community come together to play pickleball and support various causes such as Big Brother Big Sister. Amy resides in Houston with her spouse, two sons and three dogs.
Hugh Zhang
Hugh is a dynamic leader with expertise across various industries. Holding several board and trustee roles, Hugh is deeply committed to community engagement. As an avid pickleball player and advocate, exemplified by his co-chair position at Big Brother Big Sister’s Pickleball for Kids’ Sake, making it the largest pickleball charity event in Texas, Hugh’s efforts not only foster a thriving pickleball community in Houston but also underline his dedication to positive social impacts and cultural exchange through sports. Hugh resides in Houston with his wife and two sons.
Hal Martin
Hal is a business entrepreneur and owner of Hal Martin’s Watch and Jewelry and owner/manager of Pickleball Ball Country Club. Hal has been playing pickelball for the past 7 years, wining gold and silver medals along the way. He is also an ambassador for USA Pickleball, charter member of Professional Pickleball Registr (PPR), certified PPR coach and certified PPR professional player. He brought his love of pickleball to the community in Punta Mita Mexico where he taught clinics and has organized tournaments, even winning club champion.
Rommie Maxey
Rommie is a business owner and entrepreneur who brings a wealth knowledge and expertise to the pickleball spac. He is passionate about bringinging pro pickleball to Houston. Rommie is an international pickleball instructor who has inspired over 7500+ players currently through his teaching . He is the managing partner/owner of Pickleball Country Club, National Ambassador Director for Acacia Sports / Into Pickleball Media, CEO of No Mercy Pickleball Inc and an NPL Champion pro player with 6 gold/silver National Championships, Rommie holds a PhD in Biomechanics and served as a former Athletic Director. Rommie resides with his wife in Richmond, TX.
